We are in Poland now for the third World Cup.
Its has been a good day for the team with all the crews making finals. Today I had the heats and semi finals for the K1 1000m. Even though there are less numbers here there is some solid competition for the final in the men’s K1 1000. I had a very good race and put down a solid effort in the semi final but it wasn’t enough to make the A Final. So tomorrow will be the B Final.

Really pleased to have made the A Final of the K1 1000m for the first time in far too long. With a solid tail wind today I had a pretty good race and was happy to come in at 7th place just under 5 seconds behind the winner.
Overall it has been a good day for the team with Lisa Carrington winning her first World Cup K1 500m with a very strong performance. Also good to see the Girls K2 500m crew in the final for the second week running although they didn’t have the race that they wanted. The boys K2 crews both made the 1000m B Finals.
Looking forward to racing the K1 5000m tomorrow.

Same format as last week with the heats for the K1 1000m on Friday morning with the semi finals in the afternoon. The main finals will be on Saturday.
Also racing the K1 5000m on Sunday.
Last weeks racing was good to watch but it didn’t look easy that’s for sure. It was great to see team mate Teneale Hatton win the Silver medal.
